Dr. Liliana Trevani is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, where she joined as an Assistant Professor in 2009. She obtained her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the  University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1997, and completed postdoctoral work at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, (1997 - 2000) and at the University of Oxford, England,as a Visiting Scientist (2000). From 2002 to 2008, she worked as a Senior Research Associate at the University of Guelph, Canada.  

Fields of expertise: Electrochemistry, thermodynamics, hydrothermal chemistry, and materials chemistry.
